In remix:

If possible, list where you think it might work, why you suggest it might work there, and link directly to the item you are suggesting.

3/6: We'd suggested Belford Page should begin--(1:30 from Speakers Series--Until we got to the tunnel we weren't safe), then move to OH interview (not presention) where he discusses the same. Did we not get this information from OH, Sunchai? Do we wish to keep this order? If so, can we be sure it is represented in new version?

Debra Wilkison Thesis.pdf its the first paragraph on page 1. We'll need a sharper scan of this for the video if we want the image of the scan in Popcorn. If we just want the text, it's fine as is. -- Kelly

*I think it would be more visually attractive if we just typed the text in. Jennifer

We are going to narrate it (Shannon)

Oral History--quote re: rocks (overlay with images of tunnel and area ala Andrea and, if appropriate, life footage.

Are we still trying to get the tunnel footage? -Chad Not sure. I think we can get some if we talk to Donna Spinato, head of UPD, and arrange w her. Kelly

  • “after the practice the cafeteria was closed at 6 o’clock. …. and there was a tunnel where from the football field where we practice to the tunnel. Every evening we didn’t have a vehicle, we had to walk. (........) 5:45 cafeteria closed at 6, so you have to hurry to get your cloth and get over there, eat because they aren’t going to serve until the next morning. While I was picking up fellow yahoo, waiting like every evening. So rock, rocks means throw from the back of pick up truck. Get that in, you know, it was about. We have to run to the tunnel. Not only you do it for the practice, but you have to run for the safety. Then you come out when you make a tunnel, you go to the highway then you get to the T. and the coaches knew this but they would sit and laugh “ah they need to run, they need more exercise. got more” [Shannon: get the end the good way to practice..wow]  I tell you man, it was a trip  but I thought all white people like me, you know I’m coming from Dallas, and SMU, and Madison, and graduate with honor, and Math scholarship, and Dr. Hopskins, and the guy at the store, and.... What is the problem?”
